Homemade Croutons

I went to the store today to grab a few items for my menu this week and realized when I left I forgot to get croutons for my upcoming tomato basil soup.  So why not try homemade ones.

Homemade Croutons:

3 slices of bread
2-3 tablespoons melted butter
pinch of garlic salt
dried oregano


I cut the crust off and then cubed the bread.  After I melted the butter in a small dish I dipped each side of each cube of bread in the butter and laid them all out on a paper towel.  Then sprinkled garlic salt and oregano across the top of them.

Then bake at 350 degrees for around 12 minutes or until brown.  Let cool and put in a closed container or a plastic bag.  They taste amazing!  Simply Delicious
